The salary for this role will be £75-80 per day, depending on experience and the role is full time. The length of the role is unknown as yet and could be for a few weeks or even ongoing so would suit someone who wants a short to medium-term commitment.

There is a lovely atmosphere here, with a dedicated Headteacher and senior management team. The school has a very good reputation locally and is oversubscribed.

The role will involve working with a child in Year 1 who has autism. She is verbal and is in class full-time and is a delight to work with. Experience of working with children with SEND in a primary setting is essential. A good understanding of phonics is desirable, so applicants will be expected to have good levels of spoken and written English. A positive, patient approach is essential.

This will be a great opportunity to work in an amazing school and could be a good way to be considered for other roles in the future at the school.

*Hold a teaching assistant qualification, ideally level 3
*Have experience working with SEND children in a primary school in the UK
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK
