This is an "outstanding" school and Tradewind has assisted them with staffing for many years.
There is a lovely atmosphere in the school, with a dedicated Headteacher and senior management team, who run a fantastic school. The school is a great focal point for the local community and aims to involve parents/carers in their children's education whenever possible.
The role will require you to work 1:1 with two different children. In the morning, you will be working with a child in Reception who has Downs Syndrome and, in the afternoon, you will be working with a child in Year 1 with Autism, so there will be plenty of variety in the role.
The school is seeking someone with a patient, caring and calm approach and with experience of working with additional needs.
To be successful in this role you will:
Ideally hold a teaching assistant qualification and have experience working with children with special needs.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
