The role is to support a Y2 pupil who has learning difficulties and ADHD. The headteacher and Senco are keen to appoint a SEN teaching assistant who has a confident, assertive approach and can foster excellent working relationships with the pupils to maintain clear boundaries and working patterns. If you have experience supporting children with ADHD this is a bonus.
The school is looking for a SEN teaching assistant who:
*Has previous 1-1 experience in a similar role
*Ideally you will have a good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, although this is not essential
*Commitment to the school and open to development
This SEN teaching assistant role requires someone who:
*Is confident, and able to set and maintain boundaries
*Is child centred
*Has an engaging, assertive approach with the children
*Is committed to the school and would like to progress
