Position: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Location: Lewisham, London

Contract: Term time only, April 2024 on-wards

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Rates: £85 - £100 per day depending on hours, breakfast/after school clubs

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a mainstream primary school setting is desirable.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Special Educational Needs or Teaching Assistance are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support: Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Inclusion: Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with classroom teachers, SENCO, and other staff to implement individualised support plans.
