Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a heart for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you have experience in assisting students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)? If so, we'd love to hear from you!

Tradewind are working with a school that caters for pupils aged 2-19years with SLD and PMLD, some pupils have additional difficulties including sensory impairment, communication difficulties and complex medical conditions. We are seeking those who are available for daily supply.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing specialised support to our students. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting students with various SEND, including those with PMLD and SLD.

Building strong, supportive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional development.

Collaborating with teachers to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapting materials to meet students' needs.

Encouraging communication and independence among students.

Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Documenting student progress and providing valuable feedback to the teaching team.
