Primary Provision for Autism

£70 - £85 per day PAYE


SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking to appoint SEN Teaching Assistant / SEN TA / SEN Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA to join a successful team and to work in a Primary Setting within the Brent Borough. The desired SEND Teaching Assistant / SEN TA / SEN Learning Support Assistant / SEN LSA should have experience working with primary aged pupils with SEN, and ideally hold a TA or HLTA qualifications. This is a full-time temporary position starting on agency supply and then going permanent in the future.

SCHOOL
They are a specialist provision for Autism, they follow the national curriculum and are an Ofsted Good Provision with outstanding features. They are a small school which aims to provide a family atmosphere where pupils and families feel supported; they have a holistic approach to the child's learning journey. Usually, they look for someone who is familiar with the national curriculum, academic, creative, and nurturing towards the children. The school is a harmonious community where pupils, families, parents and carers, staff and governors take an active part by working hard to ensure we are always moving forward ensuring our school remains a vibrant community.

They offer an interesting and creative curriculum, which motivates pupils to learn. There are huge amounts of internal training opportunities

REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant / SEN TA / SEN Learning Support Assistant / SEN LSA, the minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

* Ideally (but not essential) hold a TA qualification or graduate seeking experience in the education sector
* Experience working with children with special educational needs including but not exclusively ASD, ADHD, MLD, SEBD and SEMH
* Have current/recent experience (within the last two years)
* Be flexible, resilient and the ability to think on their feet
