Tradewind Recruitment is working with a busy, caring comprehensive Secondary School in Barnet who are seeking a Senior ICT Technician to join their Operations team. This is a full time, long term position that will commence immediately, running through until the end of the academic year in the first instance, with an opportunity to become a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The Role - Senior ICT Technician - Barnet, North West London:

• This school is seeking a Senior Technician to support their Network Manager in leading, managing and supporting all technical aspects of ICT
• The successful candidate will provide efficient, customer-focused IT support and guidance to staff and students with a keenness to learn and further develop their skills
• This role will see you as the first point of contact for user requests, which include supporting IT and AV systems, end-user support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing professional and technical support to keep this school operating efficiently

The Candidate - Senior ICT Technician - Barnet, North West London:

• The successful candidate will hold a degree in Information Technology and have experience working as an ICT Technician
• Prior experience in a Secondary School setting would be advantageous
• This position would suit a first-line Technician who is seeking a step up in their career, or an experienced Senior Technician who is available immediately
• The successful candidate will have the ability to assess and work flexibly according to the needs of the students
• The candidate will need to demonstration Knowledge and awareness of the issues relevant to working within an educational context
