Are you fluent in Slovakian and passionate about making a difference in education? We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join a vibrant school community in Rotherham as a Slovakian-Speaking Teaching Assistant!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
- Provide language support to Slovakian-speaking students to ensure their academic success and integration
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Participate in school events and activities to contribute to the wider school community
Requirements:
- Fluency in Slovakian and English, both written and verbal
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A passion for supporting the educational development and well-being of students
