Job Description: We are looking for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to work in primary schools across Chesterfield during the summer term. As an ECT, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom while working with experienced educators. This position is ideal for individuals who have recently completed their teaching course and are eager to kick-start their teaching career.

Responsibilities:

• Lead classroom instruction under the supervision of a mentor teacher.
• Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and assessment.
• Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and differentiated instruction.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school activities.

Requirements:

• Recently completed a teaching course and obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Passion for working with primary school students and helping them succeed.
• Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work full-time during the summer term or at least 3 days per week.
• Own transport would be beneficial but not essential if living in an area with good public transport links.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
