We are recruiting! Have you got experience working as a SENCo or Assistant SENCo in a primary setting and looking for a new challenge?
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking to appoint a member of staff to work in a large primary school in Swindon as a SENCo on a supply basis. The working pattern is yet to be agreed and the school will be flexible for the right candidate. The successful applicant could potentially be offered a permanent position upon completion of a trial period however the position is still open to those who are looking for temporary work.
This primary school is an inclusive environment that has a high proportion of SEN pupils. The headteacher is excellent and is looking for a committed member of staff to join the brilliant team.
We are looking for:
- Experience working as a SENCo/Assistant SENCo within a primary setting
- Someone who can communicate effectively, with strong behaviour management & intervention skills
- An enthusiastic individual with high organisational skills and who can analyse data from a variety of resources
- Someone who is an excellent role model and who actively promotes the skills, attributes and behaviours important in a classroom
- Someone who can liaise positively with parents, staff, governors and outside agencies

- Experience working in a primary environment
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK
