Support staff for 1:1 TA

Have you worked with children with additional needs previously?

If so, we may be able to help! Tradewind is currently working with a fantastic primary school in Bedford who would like to employ a new member of staff from September. The role is to work across different year groups, especially supporting pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 basis.

This is an outstanding opportunity which will be for the full academic year with the potential to carry on a permanent basis for the right person.

We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Degree qualified or level 3 qualification.
• Makaton and Pecs experience (qualifications highly desirable).
• Experience delivering interventions across different year groups.
• Worked with small groups and provided 1:1 support previously.
• Experience and extensive SEN knowledge.
• Able to effectively support children with global development delay, autism, SEMH difficulties, speech, and language difficulties.
• Confident individual who can work on their own initiative.
• Can commit on a long-term basis from September.
• DBS on the update service or willing to complete one asap.
• Happy to register with tradewind.
