Tradewind Recruitment is pleased to collaborate with a reputable secondary school in North East Lincolnshire, currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Art to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.

Role Overview:
As a Teacher of Art, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring and nurturing the creative talents of students at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels. The position involves planning and delivering engaging art lessons, as well as providing comprehensive marking and feedback to students. While ideally, candidates will have experience in planning and marking, we are also open to considering experienced cover supervisors with a strong background in Art. Planning support will be readily available from the Head of Department, ensuring a smooth transition into the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement dynamic art curriculum plans in line with national standards.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to creativity and self-expression.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning opportunities.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.

Location and Environment:

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Art education.
