Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of one of our St Helens secondary schools who are looking for a Teacher of Maths to start in September 2024. This role is a full-time 12-month post. The position will pay up to £238.59 per day, depending on experience. Our client school are looking for a Teacher of Maths who possesses excellent subject knowledge in all areas and strong behaviour management skills.

The role:

  • Teacher of Maths to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • September 2024 start
  • Full time position
  • 12-month contract
  • Excellent subject knowledge is essential.

  • St Helens local authority
  • Ofsted rating 'Good' school
  • 900+ pupils on roll
  • 11-16 school

The essentials:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Maths KS3 & KS4
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete 10-year career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
