Tradewind Recruitment are seeking to appoint a committed Teacher of Spanish and French who is able to teach Spanish (up to Year 13) and French (up to Year 10) in a successful Modern Languages department, at an Ofsted rated 'Good' academy based in Bexley. You will join a friendly and supportive staff who work together to ensure the highest achievement for all students. This post is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified Teacher of Spanish and French or more experienced staff. The position is to start asap and is a permanent, full-time role.

It will be a mixture of online learning via Microsoft Teams and classroom-based lessons.

This is a successful, oversubscribed, non-selective 11 - 18 Academy graded by Ofsted as 'Good'. Ofsted identified that the school 'is well led and managed. Parents and pupils are extremely positive about the impact of school leaders and the principal.' They added that 'the school's work to encourage pupils' personal development and welfare is excellent'.

Spanish is taught from KS3 to KS5 and daily Spanish is well embedded into the school curriculum. Senior school pupils vary in ability from complete beginner to almost bilingual and are taught to suit the needs of the individual. Pupils are encouraged to take at least one language at GCSE and the school follow the AQA GCSE and A Level courses in both languages.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

• Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Be a Teacher of Spanish and French with excellent knowledge of the curriculum.
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
