Tradewind are delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish to join a vibrant Secondary School in Essex for September 2024.

The school is an 11-18 co-educational institution that are committed to fostering a positive learning environment where every student can excel. With a stable Senior Leadership Team dedicated to improving behaviour and raising attainment, we pride ourselves on our strong sense of community and academic excellence. Located close to a central line station, the school boasts excellent accessibility for teachers living both in East London and Essex.

The Spanish department is supportive and dynamic, led by a dedicated Head of Department. Tradewind's partner school organise yearly trips to Barcelona, offering students invaluable cultural experiences and enhancing their language skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Key Stages 3-5 Spanish
  • Form Tutor responsibilities
  • Contributing and leading to department meetings
  • Promoting a love of learning
  • Creating a safe and stimulating environment for students to thrive

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • 10-year employment check
