The Role - Teaching Assistant - Barnet, North London:
*This school is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to work under the direction of members of the teaching staff
*You will support students with a variety of special educational needs (such as Autistic Spectrum Disorders, dyslexia, behavioural and emotional difficulties) in a variety of settings including one-to-one and in-class support.
*You will have experience of working with children or young people with a variety of learning and medical needs, either in schools or within your local community
*You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be confident in using computers
*You must have good communication, literacy and numeracy skills and be flexible in your approach
*You must have the ability to relate to young people
*A degree in a Secondary School subject such as English, Maths or Science would be highly advantageous
