Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant Location: Doncaster Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-time Duration: Until the end of the academic year
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated support to a Year 8 student with Autism on a one-to-one basis.
- Implement and adapt educational strategies to meet the unique learning needs of the student.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to enhance the student's overall educational experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a special education setting.
- Understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and experience implementing tailored support strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs (SEN) are desirable.
