Are you an Inspirational Support Worker/Teaching Assistant looking for a full time long term contract?

Tradewind Preston are delighted to be working in partnership with a Secondary Alternative Provision in Fleetwood who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to start with them after February Half Term or as soon as possible on a long-term contract. This position will continue until at least July 2019 with the potential to go permanent.

The successful candidate will work closely on a 1-2-1 with a pupil who has challenging behaviour. You will be required to provide high quality support, as well as leading targeted interventions and support for the pupil.

The ideal candidate for this role will have had a minimum of 6 months experience working on a 1-2-1 basis with pupils with who have challenging behaviour, very complex social, emotional and mental health needs.

The School have a strong SLT team and always happy to help develop staff that go in on supply. You are made to feel like a permanent member of staff whether you are there for 1 day or long term. Additionally, the school invest a lot of time and courses for all staff.

The school is easily accessible from the M55 with lots of free parking onsite of the school also if you are on public transport there is a tram stop 5 minutes' walk from the school.
