Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a school in the local area seeking a Teaching Assistant. The school in Goole, are seeking someone who can be flexible to float across the school to cover daily sickness. This would mean that the ability to work across EYFS-Y6 is essential with a possible need to cover some SEND on a sporadic basis. The primary school are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant. This is a full time, long-term role with a daily rate of £85-£95 per day. The role is a temporary post and has the opportunity to get perm with the school for the right candidate.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for supporting children across the school. A background of working in schools is essential and ideally having a levelled qualification would be advantageous. A knowledge of de-escalation and behaviour is a skill which would be beneficial for the application. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of a Primary Curriculum and will be able to use a range of strategies to children with diverse learning needs. Due to not being fixed to one class, the ability to be flexible and adaptable is necessary.

Hold a Levelled teaching assistant or similar qualification
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
