Join our dynamic team as a Teaching Assistant! Tradewind are seeking enthusiastic individuals passionate about education to support teachers and inspire young minds. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll assist in classroom activities, provide one-on-one support to students, and contribute to a positive learning environment.
About you
The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for the progress and attainment of a high achieving KS1 or KS2 class. In addition to this, you will work collaboratively with the class teacher and support the academic attainment of child with additional needs on and one-to-one basis.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons, managing classroom activities, and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Provide one-on-one support to pupils with learning challenges, ensuring their understanding of the curriculum
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, including setting up equipment and organising resources for lessons
- Build a positive rapport with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
- Work effectively as a team player with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources and best practice
Essential Requirements:
-Excellent references to support previous experience in KS1/KS2
-A CV that covers the last 10 years employment history with any CV gaps explained
-The right to work in the UK
