Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a lovely secondary school in Holmes Chapel. If you have experience in a similar role or with child-based experience, and possess the energy and outgoing personality needed to engage with secondary school students, we want to hear from you!

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students at KS3, KS4, and those with special educational needs (SEN). Your responsibilities will include:
- Offering personalised one-to-one support to address individual learning needs
- Assisting teaching staff in delivering high-quality education and collaborate with teachers to deliver small group instruction
- Cultivating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting students' emotional and social development
Requirements:
- Child-based work experience, Teaching Assistant experience is desirable
- Experience supporting students with SEND
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to supporting student development and well-being
- Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and Professional references checks
