Exciting news! Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a resilient, enthusiastic, and inspiring individual seeking an opportunity to work as a SEMH Teaching Assistant! The role will take place in a small supportive school in North Yorkshire! You will be responsible for boosting a pupil's confidence in their learning ability, social skills, and coping skills.

The ideal candidate will need to do the following:

  • Support a pupil with SEMH needs using creative approaches to education.
  • Prevent, calm, and assist the student under overwhelming circumstances.
  • Use resources and activities to keep the pupils on track.
  • Follow and carry out Safeguarding policies and procedures.

The position will last until the end of the year and will pay £80 - £85 per day.

To pass our vetting checks, you will need:

  • SEND/SEMH Experience in a professional childcare setting.
