Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with experience of providing Maths Interventions to KS3 pupils and experience of supporting challenging behaviour?

Tradewind are delighted to be working in partnership with an Alternative Provision School in Preston to recruit a Level 3/Degree Qualified Teaching Assistant who has experience of delivering Maths Interventions within KS3 to start after April 2019 until the July 2019. This is a flexible position and could be full time or part time for the right Teaching Assistant.

This Alternative Provision has an extremely passionate new Senior Leadership Team and the headteacher has high aspirations for all staff and pupils in the school. The school is extremely welcoming, and the staff work effectively together and with other schools in the area. They take a personalised approach to educating their children and welcome new strategies, expect innovative teaching and learning styles.

The school is looking for an experienced Level 3/ Degree Qualified Teaching Assistant who is committed and flexible and has experience with Maths Intervention groups and has strong behaviour management skills. The successful applicant will be working with students within KS3 that are working both below and above the national curriculum to ensure all children achieve the best possible results.

The school is in Preston and is easily accessible by public transport and is close to motorway links such as the M55.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate with previous experience of working with children to join a pro-active and hard-working team. This school has a focus on improving progress and behaviour throughout the school.
