Key responsibilities include:

* Providing support to KS1/ KS2 children on a 1:1 and small group basis * Ensuring the safeguarding of the young person under your care * Collaborating with the school team to create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing learning environment for students

The competitive pay for this role ranges between £76 and £85 per day, contingent on experience. The position starts immediately on a part-time or full-time basis, extending for the remainder of the academic year with potential for further extension.

About You:

Applicants must demonstrate exceptional proficiency and competence as a Teaching Assistant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Assisting teachers in lesson delivery, classroom management, and maintaining a positive learning environment * Providing individual support to pupils with learning challenges, ensuring comprehension of the curriculum * Aiding in teaching material preparation, including equipment setup and resource organisation * Establishing positive relationships with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect * Collaborating effectively with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources, and best practices

Essential Requirements:

  • Excellent references validating previous experience in KS1/KS2
  • A CV detailing the last 10 years of employment history with explanations for any gaps
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
