Teaching Assistant - Specialist Unit for At-Risk Children

Position: Full-time, Monday to Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our specialist unit in North Chesterfield, dedicated to supporting children at risk of permanent exclusion from school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils in a specialist unit.
• Provide support to children with a range of difficulties, including Emotional, Social, and Behavioural difficulties.
• Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the teaching staff to implement effective strategies for individual and group support.

Qualifications and Skills:

• No TA qualification required, but experience within a school or as a support worker is essential.
• Team Teach training is beneficial, though full training will be provided by the school.
• A valid driving license and access to your own car are mandatory, as travel may be required.
