Tradewind are looking to appoint Full Time Teaching Assistants to start in September 2024. Schools are approaching us in the borough of Camden to start sending over appropriate candidates for their roles. The roles differ from EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Some roles involve supporting children with special education needs, group work such as phonics and boosters and general class support.
What we are looking for in you:
- Relevant experience working with children (School based, volunteering, babysitting)
- A passion for working with children and young people
- Be flexible and adaptable in your working style
- Have knowledge of the primary school curriculum
This role is for candidates looking for full time work (Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 3:30). From September 2024 onwards.
What does a typical day look like as a Teaching Assistant?
- Preparing the classroom and setting up for the day before lessons
- Clearing away equipment and materials after lessons
- Supporting children on a 121 basis or small group who need extra support
- Helping with playground duties, after school clubs, sporting events and school trips
- Managing classroom behaviour and supporting the teacher

- Book in for registration, which includes access to our online portal. Where you will upload documents of your right to work. Online zoom call which takes around 20minutes.
- DBS application if you don't already have one
- References covering 10 years
- Cleared and out to work
