Job Title: 1:1 Tutor for Female Pupil with Previous Trauma

Are you a compassionate and dedicated educator with experience in providing support to students with trauma? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified 1:1 tutor to work with a female pupil who has experienced previous trauma. This role involves tutoring in Maths, English, and Science, utilising an online portal at a local library in the Chorley/Preston area.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 tutoring sessions to a female pupil with previous trauma.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Maths, English, and Science.
  • Utilise online educational resources and tools to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Foster a supportive and nurturing learning environment to aid in the pupil's academic progress and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with the pupil's support network, including parents and school staff, to ensure continuity in learning and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher or experienced tutor with a background in supporting students with trauma.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in Maths, English, and Science.
  • Ability to effectively utilise online educational platforms and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and patient approach to working with vulnerable pupils.
  • Relevant safeguarding and child protection training and certifications.
