Year 6 teacher Full time

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a Junior school in the Chesterfield area seeking a teacher to cover a maternity leave from October 2020.

The successful candidate should have ideally had experience teaching an upper Key Stage 2 class. Applications from accomplished and confident NQT's are welcome and full support can be provided to NQT's in line with completing the NQT induction.

Experience of successfully taking Year 6 students through SAT's would be especially welcome for this role.

The school is a moderately sized two form entry school in the north Chesterfield area making it easily accessible from much of Sheffield. The school was graded good in it's last Ofsted in June 2016 where the good progress made by children in English and Maths was praised as was the positive behaviour of the students around school.

The school has a clear behaviour policy and as such behaviour was also found to be good across the school.

Pay £130 - £170.00

To join us and be successful in this Year 6 teacher role you will need to:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
