Year 1 Teacher
They are looking for someone who has worked at least 2 years in a year 1 classroom and is confident with the KS1 Curriculum along with preparing lessons, following curriculum guidelines, attending staff meetings and completely reports. You must have a strong knowledge of Phonics and be prepared to keep the children up to standards and go above and beyond.
The ideal candidate will have excellent behavior management skills and be able to work with children of all different abilities and levels.
This is a maternity post, and will be starting after October half-term until July 2021.
The ideal candidate ideally will:
*Be hard-working and highly motivated
*Have an up to date CV with outstanding References
*Have at least 2 years as a Year 1 Class Teacher AND excellent Behavior Management skills
*Have a caring approach, high expectations and able to get the best out of every pupil
*Be open to learning new methods
*Have a strong knowledge of Phonics
*Be friendly and comfortable working in a team
*Be ready to start in October 2020 and do interviews ASAP

*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
