We're looking for a Year 2 teacher to start as soon as possible at a primary school in Streatham, Lambeth!

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a passionate Year 2 Teacher to join this expanding primary school based in Lambeth, to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time role up until July 2019 with the potential to become permanent and the salary will be Inner London pay scale £29664 - £40372

This is a 2-form entry primary school that is in the process of expanding to a 4-form entry primary school. This is an 'Outstanding' school where pupils achieve exceptionally well. Teaching here is outstanding and pupils are well motivated in their lessons. This school offers a rich and engaging curriculum which is a pleasure to teach, art music and physical education are as much of a focus as the core subjects.

We are looking for:
-A KS1 Teacher who ideally has recent experience of teaching Year 2 (Year 1 and Year 3 teachers will be considered as some training can be provided)
-Someone with an excellent understanding of how children learn and high expectations of their pupils
-NQT's will be considered for this role
-An individual who is looking for a long term, potentially permanent teaching commitment
-A teacher who is creative with their approach to teaching and who is passionate about delivering outstanding teaching

This is Year 2 class teacher role at an expanding 2-form entry Primary school near Streatham in Lambeth. The Year 2 Teacher will be expected to have relevant experience in KS1, Year 1 and Year 3 experience will be considered.

This school is a 10 minute walk from 3 overground stations, and there is plenty of off street parking around the school site along with a large car park.

-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
