This role kicks off post-Easter half-term holidays, operating on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year. The competitive pay scale for this role ranges from £150 to £210 per day, depending on experience. You will be required for the remainder of the academic year. This opportunity is open to ECTs seeking to gain experience in a supportive educational environment.
Year 3 Teacher
The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the progress and achievement of a high-achieving Year 3 cohort. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Designing engaging lessons aligned with National Curriculum standards and supporting the school's creative curriculum * Understanding age-related expectations for Reception-aged children and providing appropriate support and challenge to optimise individual educational outcomes * Maintaining accurate records of data and analysing areas for re-teaching to address learning gaps and sustain high levels of achievement * Cultivating positive relationships with all students based on trust and mutual respect * Collaborating effectively with teaching assistants, key stage colleagues, and other staff members to share insights, resources, and best practices
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- Strong references validating prior experience in KS2 (preferably in a Year 3 setting)
- A comprehensive CV detailing the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained
- Legal right to work in the UK
