This all through school in the borough of Lewisham, South East London, are currently seeking a year 3 teacher to cover maternity leave next academic year. The position is full time starting in September and is paying an annual salary of up to £41,483.

This primary school is part of a group and is 1 of 3 schools who all work in close partnership with each other and share many links, ideas, values and beliefs. However each school has its own personality, community and staffing including its own Headteacher. The schools work together to serve a local and shared community of children and their families. Together they provide Lewisham's children with a rich, creative and challenging primary education. The school building is traditionally designed and dates from the turn of the century. Each group of children or class has its own classroom. The site is fully accessible and most classes have direct access to outdoors. All classes have access to shared spaces around the building such as resources areas or learning zones, two large hall spaces, music and dance room and a number of impressive outdoor learning spaces.

The school is conveniently located near Lewisham and Hither Green. It is close to stations and there are also regular buses that pass by the school.

The Headteacher is keen to recruit a full time year 3 teacher to join the team next year covering maternity leave.

The Primary teacher must have:
*Full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
*Experience teaching year 3
*A sound understanding of the UK curriculum
*High standards and expectations of both their work and outcomes
*Excellent written and verbal communication levels
*The ability to work in a large team and share good practice
