Year 3 Teaching Assistant
Tradewind are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with experience working with children or young people in any setting to work in an OFSTED 'Outstanding' rated four-form entry primary school in Romford. This would be a full-time, long-term post starting ASAP (after Easter Holidays) with pay rates between £85 to £95 a day.
Supporting a Year 3 class, this role would require someone who would be confident working with children with Special Educational Needs, able to build a strong rapport quickly as a foundation to help them to engage with their learning. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with children will have the desire to act as a positive role model for young learners.

Located in Romford, this is a four-form entry school with a vibrant, friendly and caring atmosphere. Having its own farm with sheep, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and goats, the school encourage children to spend time working with and caring for the animals. The primary school has parking on-site and is easily accessible by both bus and train.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children and young people, not necessarily in a school setting.
- Have a warm and nurturing approach when working with children.
- Be confident working with children with challenging behaviour.
- Ideally, have experience working with children with SEN.
- Confident leading small group work.
- Available 8.30 - 3.30, Monday to Friday
- Live within commutable distance of Romford.
