Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a two-form entry Primary School in Oldham to start September until the Summer 2021. This is a full-time role with a salary of £65 per day.

* Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained

We are recruiting for a KS2 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a Church of England Primary School in central Oldham. This school works together with staff, parents, the Parish Church and the wider community to be healthy, happy, respectful citizens who achieve their best in everything that they do.

The school is happy and harmonious, and pupils have good behaviour. The provision for pupils who have special educational needs and/or disabilities is good. Pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is promoted very successfully. Pupils are respectful and knowledgeable about different faiths.

The school is based in Coppice, Oldham and is accessible via car or bus.

About the role

This Oldham based primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their KS2 department, supporting children across Year 3 and Year 4. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and a good knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum. You must be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.

The role itself will involve supporting children across Year 3 and Year 4 and delivering phonics, reading and writing interventions. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working with groups of up to 6 children and they will be provided with all lesson plans required to complete the lessons. The school are looking for somebody who has the ability to be innovative and engaging, ensuring that the children have fun whilst making progress.
