The school is a one form entry school with a need for a full time year 4 teacher to plan for the whole class, including marking, assessments, and parents evenings. The year 4 class are overall higher above the national average and the school is looking for an experienced confident teacher that can maintain their grades and continue to provide quality teaching.
The school is based in the affluent and beautiful Harpenden area of Hertfordshire. Although a smaller school they are well resourced with bright colourful classroom, separate Early years centre, large outdoor play area for KS1 & 2 with a bike shed and football field and large indoor hall. There is parking for school employees and there are also excellent public transport links.
This is a fixed term one year maternity contract starting September 2020 with the salary on offer ranging between MPS1 and MPS6.

The essentials
Hold PGCE with QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
