Are you an inspiring, creative, and engaging KS2 Teacher who is looking for a role within Scarborough?
Tradewind Recruitment is exclusively working in the Scarbrough area who are searching for their next KS2 Teacher to start with them in the new academic year. This role is temporary for the full academic year. This role is suitable for both NQT's and Fully Qualified Teacher and pay will be in line with recent experience and recent pay scales.
The school a medium sized Primary School. The school has a strong ethos of 'family' and take the time to find the needs of each child personally to enable them to access a personalised and unique education.
We are looking for:
A Year 4 Specialist with the ability to across KS2 and various abilities
A committed practitioner, who will work within the school policies and their drive to raise pupil attainment
A Teacher who will work well within the school team, the school see their team more like a family
The school would like someone who would be interested in subject leadership in the future
The Role will be within Year 4 and you will be teaching a small class of between 26-30 pupils. The role would require full planning, marking, and assessment. You will also be required to attend parents' evenings. If possible, the ability to run an extra-curricular activity of your choice for the children would be beneficial but this is not essential. You would have the support of a fantastic teaching assistant in the mornings only.
The school is located in the Scarborough area, is accessible by public transport there is free parking on site for drivers. This is on a first-come, first-served basis. There are also good train links and bus links to the school for candidates traveling a bit further afield.
After speaking with the school building relationships is as important as achieving targets. The building is modernised inside with an old feel outside. The school does have excellent grounds and some local woodland too which would be ideal for a teacher who likes outdoor learning.
To join us and be successful in this Year 2 Teacher role you will need to:
Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
