On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are currently looking to recruit an outstanding teacher for a maternity cover role at a Primary School in Manchester. This role will be in a Year 4 class and will start after Easter with the end date set at February 2021. This role is partnered with a competitive daily rate which will match your experience and suitability for the role
As a Year 4 Teacher you will be working in a wonderful school in a rural area of the borough of Manchester. The schools most recent Ofsted was 'Good' and they pride themselves as a school that is able to offer all children a broad curriculum whilst keeping children safe and focussing on their wellbeing. The school is two form entry and has an average class size of 30 children. You will be working in a vibrant mixed ability class who would react well to a teacher who has strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to challenge pupils at all levels.
As one of the schools Year 4 teachers you will be expected to:
*Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 4 class
*Thoroughly planning lessons alongside the other two Year 4 Teacher, making full use of resources and the experience of the other teachers.
*Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as their personal and social needs.
*Teaching a balanced curriculum and ensuring that each child fulfils his or her potential by providing high levels of teaching standards.

*Qualified Teacher Status and current experience in lower Key Stage 2
