Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Description: Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated Year 5/6 Teacher to cover maternity leave at a mainstream primary school located in St. Helens. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to join a supportive team and make a positive impact on the education of upper Key Stage 2 students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5/6)
- Ability to engage and inspire students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Oversea Police Clarence (if necessary) and professional reference checks
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and achievement
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress
