Are you an experienced Year 6 teacher looking for a long-term Year 6 Intervention teacher's role, ASAP?
The school can offer 2- 3 days.
This is a great role for an experienced Primary teacher looking to raise attainment in a one-form entry Hackney school.
Long-term rates of between £160 - £180 are being offered, dependant on experience.

Have you got the experience, skills, and passion to raise attainment in Year 6? This non-class based role is a sought- after opportunity for an experienced intervention or Year 6 teacher to showcase their teaching skills.
As the additional Year 6 teacher, you will work closely with the current Year 6 teacher, supporting a maximum of 10 children.
The school has religious studies in the morning which allows for ample planning time. Classes are taught from 13.10 - 16.20.

This small one-form school is part of a three-school academy, which works closely together sharing knowledge; resources and expertise. The well-established academy works closely with the local community to support all their children in raising standards and providing a faith-based education. The school is committed to providing a safe; effective; and inclusive environment for learning.

The school is looking for a Year 6 Intervention teacher with the following characteristics:
-Experience of teaching Year 6 Intervention either at a UK school or abroad
-The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
-A desire and ability to plan targeted intervention lessons and activities
-A sense of humour and a high work ethic.
-Someone that is resilient and reflective on their own practice

The school is in walking distance of an overground station in Hackney, easily accessible by buses and staff have access to a carpark.

Job Requirements
*Hold QTS status or equivalent Teaching qualification
*Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
*Experience of teaching Year 6 and Interventions
