Year 3 Primary Teacher - Maternity Cover - Sheffield - September 2025 Start
Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-managed primary school in Sheffield, who are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to cover a maternity leave from 1st September 2025. This is a full-time, fixed-term role until July 2026, covering a lovely Year 3 class.
About the Role:
Full class teacher responsibility including planning, assessment, marking, and attendance at staff meetings
Teaching a well-behaved and engaged Year 3 class
Working as part of a supportive and experienced Key Stage 2 team
Based at a moderately sized, well-managed primary school praised in a recent Ofsted for the positive behaviour of pupils and strong leadership
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Experience in lower Key Stage 2 is desirable, but not essential
Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are warmly welcomed - the school can provide full induction support
