History Teacher - Slough (London Fringe)
An outstanding secondary school in Slough is looking to appoint an inspiring and knowledgeable History Teacher to join their dedicated Humanities team from September 2025.
This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent, depending on performance and school needs.
The role is full-time, though the school is open to part-time applications. Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Salary is in line with London Fringe MPS/UPS pay scales.
On-site parking is available.
History Teacher - Slough, Berkshire
Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching available depending on experience)
Promote critical thinking, historical enquiry, and a deep understanding of global and British history
Foster curiosity, empathy, and independent thought through creative teaching practices and relevant historical topics
Contribute to a high-achieving and supportive Humanities department that values collaboration and innovation
Create a classroom environment that is inclusive, respectful, and conducive to academic and personal growth

Qualifications and Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A relevant degree in History or related subject
Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire young minds
Strong classroom management and communication skills
