Cover Supervisor - Slough - September 2025 Start

Are you looking to gain classroom experience and work flexibly in schools? Secondary schools in Slough are seeking confident and proactive Cover Supervisors to support with day-to-day supply cover from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or individuals with school experience who are looking for flexible work in education. You'll be covering lessons in the absence of the regular teacher - no planning or marking required.

Position Details:

  • Role: Cover Supervisor (no teaching qualifications required)

  • Location: Slough, Berkshire

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Type: Day-to-day supply

  • Pay: £100-£120 per day (depending on experience)

  • Working Days: Flexible - you choose when you're available

About the Role:

  • Supervise classes across a range of subjects using work set by the class teacher

  • Ensure students stay on task and maintain positive behaviour

  • Follow school policies and routines

  • Gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive environment

  • Work in a variety of secondary schools in the local area

Person Specification:

  • No formal teaching qualifications required

  • A degree is helpful but not essential

  • Ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people

  • Strong classroom presence, good communication skills, and the ability to manage behaviour

  • Reliable, adaptable, and confident working in different school settings
