Bring the World into the Classroom - Geography Teacher Wanted in Derby (September 2025 Start)
Are you a passionate Geography teacher with a love for the world and a talent for inspiring young minds? Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working with a forward-thinking and supportive Secondary School in the heart of Derby City. We're looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Teacher of Geography to join their team in September 2025.
This is a full-time, paid-to-scale role, offering the opportunity to teach Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 in a school that values curiosity, critical thinking, and global awareness.
What You'll Be Doing:
Delivering engaging, thought-provoking Geography lessons that bring physical and human geography to life
Supporting student progress through effective assessment and feedback
Encouraging a classroom environment where exploration, enquiry, and independent thinking thrive
Contributing to curriculum planning and extra-curricular activities that deepen students' understanding of the world

Has strong subject knowledge and a desire to make Geography relevant and exciting
Can inspire students to think critically about global issues and their place in the world
