Are you a passionate teacher with a love for creativity, connection, and child-led learning? SANZA is working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in NW London to recruit a SEND teacher for a joyful, specialist class of 9 pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). If you're looking for a role where every day is different, every moment matters, and imagination is encouraged-this is the one for you!

About the School:

You'll be joining a forward-thinking leadership team that believes that SEND provision should be joyful, engaging, and full of possibility. Children learn through multi-sensory, thematic experiences-think messy play, storytelling, music, movement, and outdoor adventures.

The Role:

  • Leading a class of 9 wonderful, unique pupils with ASD in a calm and well-resourced learning space.

  • Supported by three experienced and compassionate TAs.

  • Planning a highly personalised, play-based curriculum tailored to pupils' interests and needs.

  • Collaborating with the school's Inclusion Lead, therapists, and pastoral team to ensure every child thrives.

Why This Role Rocks:

Creativity encouraged - paint, build, explore, and dance your way through the week!
🌿 Outdoor learning and sensory breaks are embedded into the daily routine.
🧠 Access to excellent CPD in ASD, communication strategies, and trauma-informed practice.
🎈 A leadership team that celebrates individuality-in staff and students alike.
💬 Strong parental partnerships and child-centred planning approach.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified primary teacher with a passion for SEND and/or ASD provision.

  • Someone joyful, imaginative, and endlessly patient.

  • Confident in creating a calm, structured classroom that still allows for creative chaos.

  • Committed to inclusion, emotional literacy, and whole-child learning.

🌈 "This class is the heart of our school-we're not just looking for a teacher. We're looking for a spark. Someone who sees the magic in every moment." - Headteacher
