SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Secondary Schools, Newham
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience)

As a recruitment agency specialising in educational support roles, we're seeking compassionate, motivated candidates to provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with SENCOs and teaching staff to support students with EHCPs

  • Deliver emotional and academic support to students with behavioural or learning needs

  • Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and focus

  • Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment

You Will Need:

  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach

  • A genuine interest in SEN, mental health, or educational psychology

  • Previous experience in a school, care, or youth setting (preferred)
