Part-Time EYFS Teaching Assistant - SEND Support

Location: SK5, Stockport
Hours: Part-time
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term
Pay: £85-£95 per day (pro rata, depending on experience)

Are you a skilled Teaching Assistant with experience in Early Years and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs?

Tradewind is working closely with a warm and welcoming primary school in the SK5 area of Stockport who are seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in EYFS with complex SEND needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact while working as part of a supportive and experienced team.

The role involves:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a child with complex SEND

• Leading small group activities tailored to the child's needs

• Delivering targeted interventions to support progress and development

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement personalised strategies

The ideal candidate will:

Have a strong understanding of EYFS and SEND best practice
Be confident working independently and as part of a team
Have excellent communication and behaviour management skills
Be proactive, compassionate, and resilient
Hold a relevant TA qualification (ideally Level 3)
