Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Looking for a fulfilling Primary Teaching Assistant role in Liverpool? An OFSTED 'outstanding two-form primary school is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Primary Teaching Assistant to for a none-verbal reception student with SEN considerations to start ASAP on an ongoing basis Christmas. This is a full time, long-term role with a daily rate of £90 per day.

The main purpose of the role is to work with, support and enable a reception student with SEN requirements to thrive in an educational setting. Using well established knowledge and experience as a one-to-one Primary Teaching Assistant, you are required to supervise the child in a supportive and positive manner under the direction/instruction of teaching and/or senior staff. Whilst also enabling access to learning for all pupils and assistance and support in classroom management and behaviour techniques.

• Possess energy and enthusiasm
• Works well within a team
• Experienced within an SEN setting
• Experience working with students with ASD and ADHD considerations
• Experience as a one-to-one Teaching Assistant
• Will set and achieve high standards and expectations of learning, behaviour, and care
• Eager to develop their skills and abilities

To join us and be successful in this role you will need:

• Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
• An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• A CV that must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible)
• Legal right to work in the UK
