Mainstream secondary schools in Welwyn Garden City are looking for Teaching Assistants to start in September 2025 on temporary to permanent roles - and if you're ready to support learners who need a bit more, this could be the opportunity that changes everything.

Duties include

  • Supporting pupils within a mainstream setting with mild special educational needs including ASD, ADHD and / or SEMH
  • Helping children focus, communicate and improve their love of learning
  • Encouraging progress through consistency, kindness, and creativity
  • Gaining first-hand insight into inclusive, impactful teaching

Who You Are

  • A graduate (any subject considered) motivated by making a difference and supporting young people
  • We are looking to support Graduates able to demonstrate a patient, empathetic approach and strong communication skills
  • Work experience with children or young people is an advantage but not essential
