Sports Coach - Daventry
Start Date: September 2025 | Full-Time role

Schools in Daventry are currently seeking Sports Coaches to support their PE departments from September 2025. These roles are perfect for those with a coaching background or sports graduates looking to gain valuable school-based experience.

Whether you're an experienced coach or someone looking to take the next step in your sports or education career, these placements offer rewarding and meaningful work with young people of all abilities.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading and supporting PE lessons and school sports sessions

  • Running lunchtime and after-school clubs across a variety of sports and activities

  • Helping to organise school competitions, fixtures, and sports festivals

  • Encouraging students to engage in healthy, active lifestyles

  • Supporting students in developing core physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship

  • Collaborating with teaching staff to enhance the overall PE curriculum

What We're Looking For:

  • A background in sport, coaching, or physical education (qualifications such as Level 2 Coaching Awards or a Sports Science degree are welcomed)

  • Someone with energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude

  • Confident working with children and young people, with good communication and behaviour management skills

  • A team player who is reliable, proactive, and enjoys encouraging young people to achieve their best

  • Experience in schools or youth sport settings is a bonus, but not essential - we're happy to support the right candidates with training
