SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf special needs schools in Barking & Dagenham.

We are looking for special needs teaching assistants to support students with a range of range of needs, such as Autism (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) severe learning disabilities (SLD), profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).

There are a range of roles available to begin in September 2025 for the duration of the 2025/2026 academic year.

The ideal special needs teaching assistant..

• Will ideally have previous experience within a special needs environment
• Understand the importance of clear verbal and non- verbal communication
• Be able to adjust strategies to suit individual learning styles
• Will be able to maintain a calm demeanor, especially in challenging situations
• Understand and apply positive behaviour support strategies
• Operate with the utmost respect and always ensure that every child feels seen and valued
